Let Us Fill Your Glass!

Come See Us. Enjoy the view. Stay a while.

There is no better way to understand what we do at Ayres than to stand in the cellar with Brad, glass in hand, and let him tell you the story of this place. We'd love to host you.

Tastings are by appointment only and take place with Brad himself. He’ll walk and talk you through our current releases and perhaps a library selection as well. Plan on 90 minutes. Sometimes longer. Never shorter.

Indoor tastings: 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Outdoor tastings: Any time the sun is shining (this is the Willamette Valley, after all)

Tastings are $30 per person, applied toward the purchase of two or more bottles. Smaller parties may be paired with another group so everyone gets the full experience.

We don't serve food or have picnic facilities, but we know every great spot nearby and we're happy to send you off with a recommendation.

A note on dogs: service animals only, please.

Ready to visit? Use the form below and we'll confirm everything by email. We can't wait to pour for you.

Tasting at Ayres is like coming home. Literally. Everyone who tastes here gets a sneak peek into our daily life. You see our vines, our garden, maybe one of us walking down the driveway. Once you enter our underground winery, Brad greets you with a smile, pours you a taste, and shares a story or two. Year after year, guests are surprised by what’s happening on the family farm. Many guests take the time to tell us it was the highlight of their trip.

GPS technology will often lead you astray. It will get you most of the way, but not all the way. Please refer to the directions below.

From Newberg: Take Highway 99 to Newberg

At the south end of Newberg on Highway 99, you will come to the intersection of Highway 99 and Highway 240. Turn west in the direction of Chehalem Valley/Yamhill.

Travel about 4 miles on Highway 240 to Dopp Road. There is a green road side sign with an airplane pointing toward a small airport just before Dopp Road. Turn north (there is only one way to turn) onto Dopp Road and go about 0.8 miles until you come to the intersection with North Valley Road. Ewing Young School is at the intersection.

Turn west onto North Valley and go about 0.3 miles until you come to the intersection with Lewis Rogers Lane; there is a church at the intersection. Turn north (there is only one way to turn) on Lewis Rogers Lane and travel about 1.5 miles. Along the way you will make a sharp left turn to the west and go up a hill. We are at the top of the hill.

There is an Ayres Vineyard sign at the entrance to the property. You will turn south through our gates. Go all the way to the end of the driveway as the winery is located beneath the second home on the property.

Welcome to Ayres Vineyard & Winery!
